Adobe Rolls Out a New Standalone Mobile Storytelling App for iPad
Adobe is well known for many of its Award Winning software products such as Lightroom and Photoshop for its desktop customers.
Increasingly, however, Adobe is beginning to explore the mobile market. On Thursday 8th, May, Adobe launched Adobe Voice, an all-new story telling App for mobile users.
How it Works
According to the company’s website, Adobe Voice turns your story into an amazing video in a matter of minutes. Users can quickly create and share animated videos that combine music, images, voice recordings and special effects to create an animation.
Adobe Vice President of Products for Creative Media Solutions, Winston Hendrickson said during the launch that the purpose of Adobe Voice is to put audio and video technology into the hands of the masses.
Users, with this app, can simply tell stories in a creative and fun way, even if they don’t have traditional video editing skills; thus, the app is meant to be fun and simple to use by everyone.
Users begin by selecting from a number of preset story templates. The templates are intended to help users outline and structure their video. The app enables one to import own photos, search the web or choose from the app’s 25,000 stocks.
Also included is the specially created soundtrack that allows users to add music that fits the theme of the story. Users also have the option of recording their own voice-over.
The app will be particularly useful in schools where teachers and students can create interactive videos without having to look for video editing software and resources. As a matter of fact, teachers and students played a role during the development of the app.
However, the app will be useful for almost anyone who uses iPad and who wishes to share interesting stories with friends, colleagues and family.
