iOS 8

A new version of Apple’s line of mobile operating systems is always a cause for excitement. New designs, features and capabilities all add up to a piece of software highly anticipated and sought after by a wide range of users. This year, the newest version of Apple’s mobile operating system, iOS 8, is scheduled to be presented in all of its glory. Check out this story for a more in-depth look at what new features could appear in iOS 8.

OS X 10.10

Laptop users will be thrilled at the announcement of the release of OS X 10.10, the newest incarnation of Apple’s desktop and laptop operating system. While clear details on the improvements it could provide are still forthcoming, the lack of any major aesthetic changes in OS X Mavericks could signal a significant graphic overhaul in 10.10.

Retina Macbook Air

Software is not the only category looking at potential significant releases this year. Apple’s laptop line, the Macbook Air, might also see a new version release later this year. Speculation on this puts the potential of a 12-inch Air, with Retina technology a strong possibility. If so, this could put it in direct competition with the new Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

Apple’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference is scheduled for June 2 to June 6 in San Francisco. Will you be attending to check out all the cool new stuff coming from Apple this year? Let us know in the Comments section below!
