As a matter of fact, cell phones and smartphones are expensive devices, and it can be heartbreaking to find scratches on their screens, as well as other forms of dirt. This can count heavily against you, especially if you want to sell your mobile device in the future. So, it is highly recommended that you use a mobile device screen protector on your phone to offset your mobile devices downgrade risks. However, the problem is that there are a lot of mobile device protectors to choose from; hence, finding the right one may be a challenge.

First, the basics:

Mobile device screen protectors come in many different shapes, styles and sizes. Actually, no matter what type of mobile device, be it an Android device, tablet or any other type of Smartphone, there is always a screen protector you can select. Generally, apart from providing screen protections, mobile screen protectors serve other uses, such as proving anti-sticky stuff–makeup, fingerprints, etc. and screen privacy.

There are three distinct types of screen protectors:

Regular screen protector:

This is usually the cheapest and is mostly used for screen protection against scratch. The limitation with this protector is that it doesn’t really repel anything because most of them are just as glossy as the mobile device’s screen. Consequently, if proper care is not taken, they don’t last long.

Privacy screen protector:

These are usually thicker compared to most mobile device protectors. The distinctive feature with these types of mobile devices is that they offer privacy and scratch protection. They are usually harder to apply than regular protectors since they are thicker.

Anti-glare protectors:
